Note: These resources provide a wide range of information for GLBT youth and their families and friends. The information runs the gamut from scholarship opportunities to practical advice on what to do if one is unexpectedly "outed."


AllTogether.com - A Place to Explore Sexuality and Coming Out

This site offers diverse voices to introduce GLBT and straight youth, and their families to the GLBT community. It also provides suggestions on coming out to GLBT youth and their families. It is a joint effort of the Human Rights Campaign, the Boston Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Speaker's Bureau, and PlanetOut.

This is the site of The National Coalition for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Youth. It provides a rich collection of online brochures from a wide variety of sources on issues confronting GLBT youth and the educators who serve them. In addition, it identifies, in a link to Queer America, organizations that support the needs of GLBT youth (searchable by area code or zip code). In addition, it identifies and links to organizations and publications focusing on the GLBT community.
